Amzing, RTL4 News is coming up with several interviews from the past year in which Pim Fortuyn claims the incumbent parties have demonized him as extreme right wing. In all these interviews Pim Fortuyn literally acuses prime minister Wim Kok that "should anything happen to me" that blame should at least partially rest with the sitting government. They just announced that all candidates will now receive 24 hour security. Pim Fortuyn was denied this request previously. 11:20:39 PM    Discuss

The leading politician in the Dutch elections this year, Pim Fortuyn, was just shot and apparently killed outside the Dutch broadcast corporation's radio studios in Hilversum. Mr. Fortuyn had just finished an interview with two BNN dj's, including my co-host Jeroen Kijk in de Vegte. I just got off the phone with Jeroen, the trauma heli just left without taking Fortuyn, so it appeas the worst and unthinkable has happened. I see a talking head now on Dutch tv saying he can't believe this is Holland...Unbelievable, this happened right on the guarded grounds of the entire country's broadcast facilities and they can't get a live shot from the scene. Net Jeroen Kijk in de Vegte gesproken, Hij en Ruud de Wild, samen met een andere BNN medewerkster zijn de laatste die Pim Fortuyn levend hebben gezien. De trauma heli is net vertrokken, maar Pim ligt er nog zegt Jeroen. het is duidelijk. Pim Fortuyn is vandaag vermoord.
