This has been a very 'carpe diem' weekend. My wife and I visited some friends in Port Townsend, and for the first time in a while I had a nice dark sky for my telescope.

Then, in the morning, we got in a light plane and flew over Mt. Olympus. We actually flew between peaks, and it looked like you could reach out and brush your hands across the trees as they went by. Pictures to follow.
