Lewis KOs Tyson in Round 8 [USA Today : Front Page]
Great news! I didn't watch this fight because I figured it would just be a trainwreck. Maybe now Tyson will go away? 9:43:50 PM

I wish all blogs had comments. I'm sure there's a reason, for example, why the author of this blog doesn't use them, but then how am I supposed to tell him that he'll find the girl he's looking for not at school, but at church? 7:08:14 PM

Doc Searls discovers one of the reasons why I love Macintosh:
I got the replacement loaner G4/800 TiBook, plugged it into the dented (but working) one, started it up holding down the T key, and it came up as a firewire drive. Then I ran Dantz' Retrospect on the dented one, and duplicated the entire contentss of the dented one into the new one. Now I'm on the new one, and it's like I'm on the same box. Amazing.
6 macs later, and I'm still building off the same Byzantine directory structure that I created on a Powermac 6220CD years ago. 6:34:47 PM

Beans For Breakfast: "A somewhat controversial idea to consider: The world would be exactly the same as it is now if there had never been a Scooby-Doo show, except people wouldn't thing to do the "Rut-Roh" voice. I would tentatively suggest that the hypothetical world with no Scooby-Doo would be a better one then the world we live in today - not remarkably better, just marginally better.

New York Post via Boing Boing: "Special tubs of Parkay will ship with motion-sensor chips that make than say "Butter" and wiggle when shoppers pass them at the supermarket. "
Some marketing genius is going to get a huge raise for this idea. It sounds like alot of fun, at least until entire aisles of supermarket product start calling your name. 2:42:28 PM
