[Hack the Planet] While it would be nice if this suit succeeded, I'm afraid that nothing will change for the better. A rocket attack against the U.S. base in Kandahar demonstrates that the fight against al-Qaida and the Taliban is not over, the new commander of the American task force in southern Afghanistan said Wednesday. [AP World News] At some point there will be a shift from Taliban attackers to Afghans who object to being a conquered territory of the US. Unless the US decides to leave voluntarily, which I'm afraid is very unlikely, this shift is inevitable. I wonder if the media will recognize it when it happens?
