I'll be sending my Pismo back to Apple for repairs yet again tomorrow or the next day. It was exactly 90 days since the last repair, so I don't have to pay again for this one.

Iraqis ignore gun amnesty. Iraqis appear reluctant to hand in their weapons as the US-led coalition launches a two-week gun amnesty. [BBC News | Front Page | UK Edition]
Very sensible of them. This issue shows two significant things. First, that the US really don't have any intention at all of liberating the Iraqi people. Second, that in at least one very important way, the Iraqis are already more "liberated" than many Americans.
