Two Frontier Blasts from the Past that may still have good stuff relevant to Radio Userland:

Via Jim Roepcke: Mozilla Keywords - bookmarks that take parameters. Yet another reason (in addition to for example tabs) to switch.

Crypt - encrypt Mac OS X files using the Blowfish cipher

Vancouver Enterprise Forum is another place to see who is getting funded and what is going on in the Vancouver business community.

Business in Vancouver - This is a good place to find out who is getting funded or in the news as being profitable. If they are funded or made profits, then they may have some positions available!

Zopefish: a weblog about integrating Zope and Radio Userland

Via K-Logs: Knowledge management is about desire - i.e. the desire to gather, create and share knowledge - Agreed! I wish more people had this desire. As the ease of use of K-Log tools increases and more people use them, this desire will be easier to spread.

Excellent Rant by Jim Roepcke - Why Offices Suck and Why Working at Home is Great - I understand where Jim's coming from but personally I like going out to lunch with people and I like the social drop-in aspect of working in an office. I don't like excessive meetings and I agree, knowledge managment and discipline are lacking in most offices!

Parsed XML "allows you to use XML objects in the Zope environment. You can create XML documents in Zope and leverage Zope to format, query, and manipulate XML, using the standard W3C DOM."

Got the calendar working today!
I had to:
- Hardcode myUserlandSuite.blog.getUrl to return my URL rather than the cloud URL
- Put a call to {calendar} in my template after calling and running Mark Paschal's awesome makeWebCalendar script. Otherwise, the calendar links pointed erroneously to the Cloud.
It seems that the code in Radio Userland is built around the assumption that you are either FTPing, using the Cloud or copying it to a Manila site. My case, where I am running RU on the same server as Apache and am serving off directly off the WWW folder and NOT FTPing or copying to a Manila site doesn't seem to be handled. Perhaps there is a better way to do this?
