Denver November 2004 Election

A picture named walshfordanetcraft.jpg From e-mail from John Walsh's campaign: "Today John Walsh, candidate for Denver District Attorney, announces the endorsement of Tom Strickland, former U.S. Attorney for Colorado and 2002 Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate."

Here's Mr. Walsh's RSS Feed:.

I think he is the first local or state politician to announce an endorsement on a weblog.

Colorado Water

March is shaping up to be the second driest on record, according to the Denver Post [March 30, 2004, "March leaving basins thirsty"]. From the article, "Snowpack - the accumulation in the mountains that melts to fill reservoirs and supplies most of the state's water year-round - tumbled from 88 percent of the 30- year average at the beginning of the month to 72 percent Monday. An even bleaker picture emerges from individual basins: Southwest Colorado, which has been hit the hardest by the drought the past four years, fell from 109 percent of average to 76 percent as of Monday."
