Outrageous.

Caligubican* Christopher Ranken posted this outrageously funny comment to this blog. A exerpt:
"Now, I freely confess to a dalliance with Fritz the Cat, but Lassie? She's way too furry for me--I consider her merely a friend. (You know how that goes--I love her, but I'm not *in love* with her.)"
I wanna see Ranken, Cheryl Bly-Chester, Jack Grisham and Ronald Palmieri debate instead of them.

The very best thing about California (well, besides that whole Pacific Ocean thing) is the amazing, uh, diversity. The above candidates represent a wide range of opinion and focus. Here's a painting about diversity and ... not-dogs:
