By the way, FIFA selected only european referees for the semis. Is this a sign?

The referee for the game Germany-Korea is Urs Meier from Swtzerland. Meier officiated in the Koreans' match against the United States and also refereed the politically-charged encounter between the Americans and Iran at the World Cup in France four years ago. Isn't it weird that Korea gets the same referee twice? Will he provide final proof that this is the Dirty World Cup?
His assistant referees will be Frederic Arnault of France and Evzen Amler of the Czech Republic, while the fourth official is experienced French referee Gilles Veissiere.

The president of Perugia statements about his Korean player Ahn, have been wrongly stated by the press not used to the world of football. So he has made it clear. There is no revenge against Ahn who will remain with the Perugia team until the end of his contract the 30th of June of 2002. The reality is that Perugia would have to pay 3 million Euros to keep him, I don't think he is worth it. He never learned italian and didn't get use to living in Italy, he has not done anything impressive in Italy. Remember he wasn't even a regular player with the Korean team at the beginning of the World Cup. It was rumored that the teams Glasgow and Atletico de Madrid, were interested. I predict he won't be the hot contract that the Koreans expect and Korean players will not invade european football as South american, African, and Turkish players have done in the recent past. Japanese players will be more sought, after the extraordinary performance of Nakata and others. The reality is that the Korean players are not that good. They have reached this level, because this is the Dirty World Cup.
