I'm thinking about getting my wife another watch exactly like the stolen one to surprise her... What do you think? Is this a good idea?... I'm so bad at this human relations stuff... That is, I'm good in practice, but I have no idea what the theory is... Give me a math problem any day...

My wife was assaulted today right in front of our house. Three guys forcefully took her watch, she is ok, mad as hell, but ok. She thought I'd get angry at her, it was a watch I had given her when we got married (instead of rings), and I've told her not to use it to go on the streets. Far from it. I was angry, but not at her...
