SCO cancels IBM Unix license. The company says it has revoked Big Blue's license to sell its version of Unix, called AIX, and requested that a judge permanently block IBM's Unix business. [CNET News.com]
How unimportant is this? IBM stock was up for the day, SCO was down...

Steve Jobs And Jeff Bezos Meet The Segway [Slashdot]
An interesting read. When the Segway came out I was very disappointed I thought it was a toy, a very expensive and ugly toy. When I heard the enthusiasm from Jobs and Bezos I was confused. Now reading this account I see what happened. These guys hammered the product relentlessly, they were not listen to. And that's how the product turned out. Don't misunderstand me, I would love to have a Segway, but I have no plans to spend money on one, at least not before I buy my next Ferrari...
