Microsoft drops development of Internet Explorer for Mac. Microsoft on Friday officially dropped development of Internet Explorer for Macintosh. The company's Macintosh Business Unit (MacBU) will release an update for the OS X version of the browser on Monday that will have security and performance enhancements, but no new features. Microsoft said it would continue to support Internet Explorer 5 for the Mac for the foreseeable future, but development of the browser has been discontinued. Any future updates to the browser will only contain maintenance or security fixes, no new features. [MacCentral]

I think this is a mistake on Micro$oft's part. In a few months the best browser my be Mac only, in a few years it may be ported to Windows...

Again turmoil and violence in Venezuela. I don't want to explain it. I don't think I could. There was an opposition protest by an old party (one of those that Chavez first killed and then resurrected), and the pro-government crowd can't stand it. WIth the violence and protest they just increased the relevance of these acts. The opposition had a boring political act, the officialism burned a police post... Draw your own conclusions...

Unfortunately, the language and acts of the government and its supporters make the future cristal clear. They will fall and then they will be persecuted justly and unjustly, you can't play with the fury of the people. At that time don't expect the few voices of peace to achieve any kind of protection for the innocents and the guilty that will fall by the thousands. We won't be able to stop the anger. You raise the crows, Mr. Chavez, soon they'll take your eyes out...
