"What kind of peace do I mean? What kind of peace do we seek? Not a Pax Americana enforced on the world by American weapons of war. Not the peace of the grave or the security of the slave. I am talking about genuine peace, the kind of peace that makes life on earth worth living, the kind that enables men and nations to grow and to hope and to build a better life for their children - not merely peace for Americans but peace for all men and women - not merely peace in our time but peace for all time." -- JFK

[10:33:23 AM]
Oh those shrill Republican Corporate Journalists: they're going to have so much fun with Pelosi. She ain't no good, she's gonna take the Democrats down the drain, yada yada yada.

The shrill Republican Corporate Journalists think Tommy's the kind of guy the Democrats need -- someone who won't fight, and won't argue. Someone who knows when to give up.

[10:15:03 AM]
In the ultimate disgrace for the Democratic party, Charles Grassley has become the greatest champion for Democrats in the Senate.

Turns out, Jeb and Rove and that Corrupt Republican Rehnquist daughter at HHS conspired to delay the release of Florida audit results until after the election.

Would a Democratic Senator say one word about Republican corruption? No.

Poor Grassley, though. Since he was first elected as an ultra right-wing kook, the Republican Party has moved so far to the right that Grassley's too liberal for them. And now Grassley's moving to the top of Rove's list. Stay out of dark alleys, Chucko! Rove the Knife never forgets, and never forgives.

[10:04:06 AM]
It took about five minutes to learn whether "Democrats" would learn from the November massacre and start fighting. Ha, ha. The pink tutus didn't come off.

I sent a note to Daschle: lead, follow, or get out of the way. Tommy: I didn't mean get out of *Bush's* way.

Imagine the campaign for nomination for pres: Daschle promises not to question anything Bush says; Kerry promises to publicly demand anyone opposed to war *not* vote for Democrats; Gephardt's plan for raising more money is to give 50% to Republicans.

[9:59:24 AM]
A quick flash of the knife -- barely noticeable in the midnight darkness -- and Webster's out. Rove the Knife strikes again.
