News - Sam and Max video game sequel planned: http://www.galaxyfaraway.com/Games/index.shtml

Comment - Brandon was just asking me the other day if LucasArts was going to do any new games. I guess this sequel will come out in 2004.

The original Sam and Max is one of our all time favorite games. Hilarious voice work and funny puzzles. Also terrific were Day of the Tentacle and Escape from Monkey Island.

News - Interesting article on new findings about what's more important, our genetic background or our upbringing: http://www.boston.com/dailyglobe2/286/focus/Sibling_rivalry+.shtml

Comment - If you say "both genetics and upbringing are equally important", the author says you'd be wrong. The author seems to me to be saying that the "both genetics and upbringing are equally important" answer is too simplistic and ignores new findings about the importance of random events in the womb, like chemical changes or even the position of the baby as it is growing.

A lengthy article but fascinating to read.

News -- We saw Star Wars Attack of the Clones at IMAX in Grand Rapids.

Comment -- An amazing experience. Sound system was twice as good as anything I've ever heard in a theater. Only complaint (other than the bad acting) is that sometimes there was so much happening on the huge screen that it got disorienting.
