Comment: "Top federal officials yesterday issued their most pointed advice
since Sept. 11, 2001, on precautions the public should take against
terrorist attacks, warning that every home should be stocked with three
days' worth of water and food in case of a strike with chemical, biological
or radiological weapons."
I don't think we have much to worry about here in Michigan, but...we
will be in NYC at the end of the month, right about the time the war will
probably start. Guess I'll make sure I've got Luna bars in our suitcase.
Actually, you could make the point that security will be so tight that NYC
may be the safest city in the world.

Comment: "The survey found support for war has surged since mid-January, a
boost that began with Bush's State of the Union address and was sustained by
Secretary of State Colin L. Powell's address last week to the U.N. Security
Council."
Bush and Powell made the case and the American people have responded. Now,
let's get the war over with.

Comment - The missiles would hang around and then drop when its sensors
detect a tank or something. I read an article once that suggested that you
could have a high altitude vehicle that filled with something like crowbars.
When it spots a tank, it drops a crowbar on it. The catch is that if it's
dropped from a long way away, the crowbar is traveling at a tremendous
velocity and has enough energy to flatten the tank.
