As I type this Friday morning, our thermometer reads a brisk - 10 F.
Zooming outside across the driveway in my pj's (t-shirt and boxer shorts) to get this morning's paper was certainly bracing.
And we're in the "Banana Belt" region of Anchorage. It's my bet that it is - 20 to - 25 F at Mom's.
Of course, the East Coast is in the middle of major cold snap. Who knows, Robin's Long Island thermometer may have a lower reading than ours.
