After reading this article, I must demo an Airboard!
I was quite the sledder when I was a kid. We lived in what was basically a homestead accessed via a mile long, very steep road with no traffic - a total sledding nirvana. I used to sled to the bus stop every day to catch the school bus. I'd stash my sled in the woods and pick it up after school on my way home
So this Airboard thing sounds like just thing for someone who is no longer interested in getting jarred and rattled by a sled. It's a smooth fast ride.!

It is positively Arctic again this evening. It's ten degrees with a steady 20 mph wind enhanced by aggressive gusts. Definitely a total Brrrrrr.
The Ski Boy and I are both working long hours these days - he's got a case going to trial in a month and I'm up to my nostrils in two completely different high stakes projects. Ugh...So we've been getting home later than usual and Clementine is a tad lonesome.
Peter and I attempted to take Clem for a walk this evening after we got home - we were feeling guilty about not enough quality time with the pooch. All three of us got way bundled up and headed outside into the nasty elements. We were only ten minutes into our walk when Clementine planted her feet and refused to go any further. The very strong cold North headwind was more than she was interested in. So, we turned around and plodded home.
