This afternoon, the Ski Boy and I de-decorated the Christmas tree. We then rebagged it, toted it to the front door, said a few words in memoriam and then heaved the tree into the snow bank.
Christmas is done with for another year.
And lest you think that we're the sort that leaves our dead nude Christmas tree in the yard throughout the entire winter, Peter rescued the tree from the snowbank and drove it off to the recycling center.

Our New Year's Eve Progressive Dinner was fabulous and I have lots of pictures. However, I've had a micro relapse on the flu front and am moving somewhat slowly. I spent most of yesterday sleeping. Which was very nice.
So, I promise I'll post the pictures tomorrow. Although, to everyone's disappointment (I'm sure), there are no penguin snapshots.
