Newsy Tidbits So, while hiding from the Russians, I've been surfing the web and have found a couple of interesting little goodies. Steve Martin's very sweet letter to Johnny Carson. An entertaining article in the NY Times on interior decorator/design blogs. It seems to be an NY Times morning - here's another fun article on the Genius Bar - the walk-up technical support bar that is a feature of every Apple Store. Yet another example of how Apple gets it and nobody else does. I wonder if Joe has ever visited the Genius Bar in the San Francisco Apple store. 8:53:26 AM    comment []

Home and in Retreat I'm staying home today with my flu (and of course,with Clementine too). I'm also in retreat because The Russians are here. Lest you think I'm whacko, The Russians are our cleaning folks (who are from Russia) and Thursdays are their cleaning day. So, I'm hiding out in my office until they're done in the bedroom.
