My doctor called me this evening with the results of my CT scan. I do NOT have a sinus infection.
My immediate, very plaintive response was "How come my head hurts so much?".
Poor Dr. Fischer (my doctor) - there is no obvious answer to that question.
Although this does explain why the antibiotics did not help. There was nothing to kill in the old sinuses.
Upon Dr. Fischer's recommendation, I'm going to make an appointment with an ENT. Hopefully I won't have to wait months to get in.
But there is one upside - no need for anymore Neti Pot stuff!
