Ooooh - I'm soooooo pleased. My new geocache Little Pictures - Anchorage seems to be a hit. Folks are having a good time! I was a little worried that your average crusty Alaskan cacher might think the cache was totally lame. But so far, so good!

Well, with that title, you know the ice isn't going anywhere. Peter says that there is a bit more water, but there's still a lot of ice. Out of the running today: Mom, Phil, and Erin. Poor Mom, she's never won.
At least my worst fear won't come to pass - having to pay out for both May 2nd and May 3rd. I think it's dicey as to whether the ice will even make it out tomorrow. If we have another day like today, the ice could linger on for a few more days!
UPDATE: Peter, Tyge, and I just returned from our evening walk. The ice is almost out!!!!! There's just a large-ish ice flow in the middle of the lagoon. It will certainly finish going out sometime tomorrow.
