Whilst here in Buffalo, just getting ready for bed, I got a call from a very unhappy Ski Boy. The Ski Boy was going to grill steaks for himself and Pooh. However, (and you knew there was going to be a "however") the doorbell rang while Peter was putting the groceries away.
I bet you can sense where this story is heading.
When Peter came back upstairs, Tyge had eaten both steaks and an entire package of flatbread. Ugh...
And Tyge had just recovered from 4 days of a very nasty case of the runs brought on by an intestinal virus.
This is not going to be good.
And the Ski Boy is not a happy camper.

At last, I think I've found the place that truly understands and appreciates me - The Mansion in Buffalo.
Wow - what a wonderful little boutique hotel. It's a renovated mansion - hence the name. The rooms are amazing. I think my ceiling is at least 18 feet high. The staff are friendly, hip, and cater to your every need.
My favorite feature may be the Billiards Room with the honor bar. The honor bar is truly an honor bar. It's completely stocked - including some fabulous local micro-brews. One just skips down the back stairs from one's room to the Billiard Room (complete with billiard table, comfy couches, and a fireplace) and helps one's self to a drink. One then signs a little tab stating the libation one indulged in.
Fabulous!
I am a happy camper (she said, whilst sipping her Grand Marnier).
