You gotta love this one. From the Wall Street Journal:

Bush Denies Eavesdropping on Calls
Bush insisted that the U.S. doesn't listen in on domestic telephone conversations, but sidestepped whether the NSA compiles phone records.
Man. How lame is that? That's like President Clinton saying "I didn't have sex with that woman."
Collecting, warehousing, mining, and analyzing mass amounts of CDRs (call detail records) and eavesdropping are two points very close to each other on the privacy spectrum. Just like intercourse and a blow job are very close to each other on the sexual spectrum. Sheesh...

The Seattle weather is absolutely wonderful. As I type, it's 79 and sunny. The rhododendron bushes are in full magnificient bloom, flowers everywhere, green leafy trees, etc. I'll bet that at home in Anchorage, the leaves still aren't even out.

Seattle is home to major series of four puzzle geocaches based on baseball. Ball One is the first in the series - naturally Ball Four would be the last in the series. The caches are quite difficult and it takes quite a bit of time and effort to finish up the entire series. I've done Ball Two and Ball Three - yesterday, Scott, the Ski Boy and I did Ball One.
Ball One starts at the original home of the Seattle Pilots: Sick's Seattle Stadium. Sick was torn down years ago and a Lowe's Hardware store now occupies the site. However, amazingly, Lowe's has a little memorial to Sick's. Homeplate and a batter - exactly where homeplate was located in the stadium. Which happens to be right beside the entrance into Lowe's. The memorial is actually pretty darn nifty - although the batter is incorrectly oriented to homeplate. But that's o.k.
The cache itself was very challenging - although we had it a little easier than most cachers since Scott had already done the cache and had a few handy little hints. So, on to Ball Four!!!
Batter Up!!!! Using a GPS instead of bat.
