There were certainly many interesting presentations, and I'm looking for time to read some of the papers that I highlighted in my notes. OTOH, there were a few studies that left me thinking "Hey, I saw this at CHI two years ago! Where's the new stuff?"

OK, so the nerds at MIT have studied the efficacy of aluminum foil hats. Now I challenge the nerds of Caltech to build a better model.

Earlier this year, MIT engineers conducted an empirical study on the efficacy of aluminum foil helmets to block mind control rays. They've published the detailed results of their experiments online. . . Link [Boing Boing]
Given their proximity to JPL/NASA, the Caltechies should have easy access to those troubling government frequencies.
