Some more thoughts on .ppt and presentation styles:

Zen is not for value judgments. A blog called "Presentation Zen" has generated a lot of buzz for a couple of posts that smugly satisfy what an audience wants to believe... [peterme.com]

the culture of "the deck". There are many things I’ve been delighted and impressed by during the nearly five months I’ve now spent at Microsoft. However, there have also been a few things that i’ve found extraordinarily disheartening. One of the latter has been the organizatational dependence on “the deck”. . . [mamamusings]

I could start a minor rant on the misuse and abuse of Zen, but first I'll have to work on a skillful way to approach it. Not tonight.
