From France to Scotland by sea.

Day 7. Departure from L'Aber Benoit at 8:30 AM. Arrival in Trebeurden at 6:30 PM. Distance: 48 NM. Conditions: fog in-land, clear day, north wind started around 11 AM, 8-11 knots all day.

Biggest distance covered yet. Terrific sail today; caught the tidal current the right way this time, and was doing 6 knots true most of the day (even though the boat was going 4-5.8 knots).

The inlet I was in last night (L'Aber Benoit) was really beautiful, both last night and particularly this morning. Here are some pictures.

Coming in, a sea harvester.

Picture from the mooring, at low tide.

Sunset, high tide.

Early morning.

A ship passed on the way to sea.

Leaving L'Aber Benoit in the fog.
