Day 8. Departure from Trebeurden at 3PM. Arrival at Tréguiet at 10:45 PM. Conditions: Sunny in the morning, cold and high clouds in the afternoon. 5-8 knots of wind until 5 PM, then no wind. I've arrived in Treguiet, beautiful Breton town 4 miles inland. I got here by motoring up a little river, and arrived just as night was falling. Passed a house Calder bought many years ago. I'm now in a position to make the crossing to England.
