"Plugging in the Disconnected Voter"
In this morning's newspaper column, I try to explain why my home county, rather than some hipper place, leads the nation with three campaign weblogs. "It is stolid Guilford that has first embraced the candidate Weblog, and upon some reflection that makes sense because the use of these self-published Internet journals is a way of routing around the status quo, and there are few places in this country where the quo is as oppressive as it is here."
