2-0
Last night the Tar Heels did something they weren't able to do last year: they came from behind to win a game against a solid team. Comebacks are part of the Carolina tradition--epitomized by the 1974 win over Duke, when UNC was down 8 points with 17 seconds left and still won after Walter Davis sent the game into overtime. 2-0 in November doesn't mean the Heels are all the way back, but Elijah and Sydney and I were yelling at the TV by the end of the evening. Thad Williamson, the man who wrote the book on Carolina hoops, puts the good start into perspective.
