Sweet scent of early delivery Whether you favor the war in Iraq or oppose it, I think most rational people understand now that it's going to happen regardless. . .Steven Den Beste thinks it will be shown to be a just war with far ranging consequences for Europe, the UN and NATO and I agree with him. . .I believe Iraq, as it is currently governed, is a sponsor of terrorism and will stop at nothing to find ways to harm Americans. . .I also believe that the Iraqi people are suffering greatly and will welcome the regime change that is now both imminent and inevitable. . . Arguments using other countries with ruthless dictators where the common people suffer (see Zimbabwe, North Korea, etc) as examples of why we shouldn't attack Iraq are basically useless. . .we cannot police the entire world. . .it suits our purposes to police this portion of the world because they mean to do us harm in the long run. . .just because we can't do all the good in the world by overturning all ruthless dictators doesn't mean we shouldn't do a little bit of good by overturning one ruthless dictator. . . I think we will attack Iraq within two weeks. . .I have no idea how long it will take to finish the job we should have finished in 1991. . .but once it has happened and we have won, I believe that the evidence will be there to prove that this was in fact a just war. . . 6:48:10 PM ![]() |
