Flow Blue & New Haven Clock

I've listed two really nice antiques on Ebay over the weekend.  The first is a Flow Blue wash bowl which dates back to the 1800's and was made by T. Rathbone & Co.  There originally was a pitcher with it, but one of the kittens (whose name will not be revealed at this time to protect her "innocence") knocked it over and smashed it into smithereens.  We've set the wash bowl high atop a chest so she can't get to it before it sells.  Kitten-proofing a home is alot like child-proofing, only worse! 

The clock is very old.  Probably dates to the late 1800's - early 1900's.  The face is a little rough, and I never had the key to wind it, but everything else looks intact.  It was manufactured by the New Haven Clock Co., and is an 8-day clock.  My other clock sold for more than I expected, so I have high hopes for this one, too.  If anyone's interested in the auctions, click on the pics and you'll be directed to the listing. 

Received an email this morning from the lady who bought the Trixie Belden books.  She got them in the mail yesterday and said they were even better than she'd expected.  I always try my best to describe the things I sell.  Sometimes there are flaws that don't show up in pictures, and I want the buyer to  know exactly what they're bidding on.  So far, everyone has been pleased, and that makes me feel good  :)
