Out of the blue clear sky....

popped up a strange referral today....a Google search for "kinky barbie doll picture".  Got my attention.  Kinky barbie doll?  Oh yeahhhhh, I remember now....a story I posted last month regarding Mattel trying to block sales of an S & M Barbie.  I got curious and did the Google search myself.  Lo and behold, there's my blog!  Real close to the top.  But what caught my eye was this link where I found "Queen of the Underworld" Bondage Barbie herself.  Curiouser and curiouser, I proceeded.  Didn't find Ken the Dom, or Skipper the Submissive, but the site does have some really cool artwork.  Not what I expected....no, not at all.  The site, Elfwood, it seems, is dedicated to fantasy, sci-fi, and fiction, Tolkien, dragons, angels, and that sort of thing if you're into it.  Kept me busy for almost an hour....

Deck the halls

A nice day today...can't believe how warm it is here.  Mid-60's the last couple of days - which means rain must be on the way.  Left work early enough to avoid the rush at the post office so we could mail some packages out without having to stand in line, and made a WalMart run for wrapping paper and a few gifts.  I'm beginning to get in the Christmas spirit now, but feel a little anxious about getting everything done in time.  

Yesterday was even better. There's nothing as great as coming home from work and finding the Christmas tree up and fully decorated, wreaths hung on the doors, and twinkling lights strung along the front porch.  Seems Scott and Bec got a lil' bit of that Christmas spirit themselves yesterday and proceeded to deck the Southern halls we call home.   I never had to lift a finger!  Scott said he asked Bec if she thought I'd mind not being here to contribute (which I'm sure he meant "supervise")  LOL.  I don't know what her exact reply was, but I'm sure it was something like.."umm NO".  What a treat!  And I wonder...can we do this every year??  ::wink::

The kittens have already climbed the tree, rearranged the tinsel and ornaments, and the puppy has acquired a taste for fake pine.  It's going to be a great Christmas!
