Sally just bought a new iPod and is thinking about converting her large CD and LP library to AAC. I've been very happy with iTunes 4 to convert my CDs to AAC and have been using an iMic and Final Vinyl to digitize LPs from which they are converted to AAC with iTunes or QuickTime.

Robert Lewis recently wrote a three part piece on the subject of dealing with vinyl.

part 3

the reader comments also have useful information.

I'm going to wait for further developments with Peak LE and Montage before moving from Final Vinyl (even though it has its problems).

I'll add some ferret stuff over the next few days.
