I guess Boston College athletic director Gene DeFilippo has a short memory:

As you know, BC Athletics has been in the news much of the spring and summer as conference realignment was discussed. I'm sure you are fully aware of the events that transpired, so there's no need to rehash them here. Our focus now is to make the BIG EAST Conference as strong as it can possibly be. We are thinking big, and the future of our conference and BC Athletics is very bright.

Got Away Cheap

Yesterday I visited the local Apple Store. I swear, every time I go in that place I could spend my whole damn paycheck. I had to stand a few paces pack from the new G5 so I wouldn't drool all over it. I almost walked out of there with a new 40GB iPod. I figure I got away cheap though. I plunked down my credit card and walked out with an AirPort Extreme Card for my Powerbook G4. Now I'm signing up for a T-Mobile HotSpot Free Day Pass and it'll be off to Starbucks for me.
