Oh Great

Just in from CNN.com:

Space weather forecasters say the coronal mass ejection, or CME, was detected Wednesday morning at 3 a.m. EDT. It is expected to reach Earth about 3 p.m. EDT Friday, and its effects could last 12 to 18 hours.

Are they sure it wasn't just David Wells letting one rip?

Night Of The Panther

Apple is rolling out its new OS tonight, so I'll be heading over to my local Apple Store to check it out. From everything I've read it's going to be a must buy for me.

Over on the other side, where the forces of darkness reside, BBSpot had a parody website up comparing MS Office 2003 with its previous versions. Seriously, I'm still using Office 2000 on my WinTel desktop. I saw no reason to "upgrade" [sarcasm] to Office XP and I still see no reason to buy into this new version. In fact, I've downloaded and I'm trying out Open Office 1.1. The funny thing is, Office v.X for Mac is so much superior to any of the Windows versions of MS Office. Go figure.

Well, of to work now. Maybe I'll hear from my good friend Johnson again.
