You surely have experienced situations that exasperated you. When something in the house breaks down and you need a repair or help and you are only hitting the wall in your efforts.
Corporations are increasingly hiding behind call centres that are not housed in the same building but have been outsourced. Helpdesks can be a pain in the neck. And do you still have a bank where you can actually visit their offices for a transaction? Quite often people behind phone helpdesks only have a first name. When you ask if you can call that person back, they tell you they don't have a phone number and please call the centre; it is possible they can't even call you back. Have you ever tried to lodge a complaint with eBay? It's like talking to a five year old.

WashingtonPost: "For months, people wrote me letters denouncing the insensitive corporations that mistreat the folks who buy their products and regaling me with their own horror stories."

However, corporations give all attention and care to the treatment of politicians.
WashingtonPost: "Rep. John A. Boehner (R-Ohio), who was elected House majority leader last week, is renting his Capitol Hill apartment from a veteran lobbyist whose clients have direct stakes in legislation Boehner has co-written and that he has overseen as chairman of the Education and the Workforce Committee.
The relationship between Boehner, John D. Milne and Milne's wife, Debra R. Anderson, underscores how intertwined senior lawmakers have become with the lobbyists paid to influence legislation."

BBC: "Software giant Microsoft is among the organisations meeting Tony Blair to discuss how they could get involved in the planned new trust schools."

It is symptomatic for an administration that wants to screen everyone but leaves out its own employees from scrutiny, that a CIA employee was arrested for burglery.

But there is a certain logic in it all. The GOP is mainly a party consisting of crooks helping other crooks.
MidHudsonNews: "When the US didn't capture Osama Bin Laden in Afghanistan, it wasn't by mistake, Congressman Maurice Hinchey of Hurley theorized.
Instead, Hinchey said the Administration had a motive for not capturing him. 'Why did we do that? The only logical answer that comes to mind is they didn't want to capture Bin Laden because if they captured Bin Laden and wiped out the Taliban, which they could have done at that moment, there would have been no justification for going to war in Iraq, and they wanted to use that as a justification for attacking Iraq,' he said."

Our personal lives are governed by the big corporations who control politics and give you bad consumer service.
