Picked A Peck Of Pretty Pictures

Just finished posting the last of the London photos.  Ended up posting about 190.  Far short of what I originally guessed I would, but to be frank, I got a little tired of resizing and cleaning up so many.  So enjoy what you see.  I still need to finish adding captions for all of the pictures, but I aim to have that done by Sunday.  As it is, you can probably piece together what happened just from the photos.  After all, they're worth a thousand words apiece, right?

Next I'll warm-up my Photoshop skillz and make some really nice posters from photos like the one to the left.  That will likely kill my whole weekend right there.  Luckily I live in a place where I usually have nothing better to do with my weekends.  If I come up with anything worth sharing, I'll post them here.

If you see a photo that you especially like and would like a copy suitable for tacking to your wall, let me know and we'll work something out.

Mixed Feelings

I'm not sure how to express how I feel about this war.  If I say I'm against it, then I'm viewed as unpatriotic.  If I say I'm for it, then I'm viewed by much of the world as supporting international war crimes.

I really dislike the world we live in right now.

How did things get so screwed-up?  Or have things always been this way and I haven't been paying attention?  With each passing day we have new warnings, new security measures, and new terms to keep up with:  MOABDaisy-cutterShock & Awe?

Is this a war or the return of 80's metal bands?  I half expect Rumsfeld to announce that we're unleashing Guns & Roses on Saddam.

So for the record, I'm not watching the war tonight.  I'm watching the Spurs and Mavericks game.  For all I know, right now the world is going to hell live on CNN, ABC, and FoxNews.  Or maybe it already did a long time ago.  I'm trying my best not to care.

This Looks So Wrong

The look on the guy's face on the bottom is priceless.  The focus on the other guy's face is disturbing.  Yet another reason why I dislike college basketball.
