All That Juggling
This whole week has been shot to pieces with benchmark testing. Essentially I'm stuck with my 2nd period for over four hours while they take a test in whatever subject area is scheduled for that day. The tests don't take that long, though, so there's quite a bit of time to kill. Being the wonderful teacher I am, I tried to give them plenty to do, including vocabulary work, poetry to analyze, and a whopper of an essay to write concerning symbolism in A Farewell to Arms.
But my students always want more. They want trivia questions, they want to deconstruct popular music, and lately they want to learn how to juggle. Being who I am, I'm more than happy to show them the ropes. Proof:

Joey and Jeanette are off and running after about an hour of practice.

But some people never get it, as Mari asks once again, "What am I supposed to do with this?"
More juggling to follow tomorrow, I'm sure.
