The Search Is On - The Sequel
A few months ago I wrote about what people search for to find this site. Back then it was Avril Lavigne and Paul Stojanovich (the latter still getting several hits a day. Avril has fallen way off the map). Times have changed.
Over the past twenty-four hours or so, this website has been seeing an abnormal increase in traffic due to the Kobe Bryant sexual assualt case that was big news yesterday. Because I wrote an article that briefly mentioned it a couple of weeks ago, suddenly folks searching for pictures of Kobe Bryant's alleged victim's picture are flocking to this page.
Bet they're disappointed.
I'm sure her picture will become public soon now that Bryant has been officially charged. I feel awfully sorry for her, though. She goes from being an unknown 19 year old in Colorado to being the woman accusing one of the most popular sport's figures on the planet of rape. For the rest of her life she'll be known for that and maybe nothing else.
And if you hapened to see Kobe Bryant's press conference last night -- was that the most painfully awkward thing to watch or what? Between apologizing to his wfe over and over again (something that is best left for private and not in front of a billion television viewers), holding back tears, and claiming that he's not guilty, Kobe also managed to commit the crime of making me feel incredibly uncomfortable. I think I was squirming more than him. So at least of that, Kobe Bryant is guilty as charged.
