Packin' Sorry I haven't been updating my website, but the last couple of days have been devoted to packing and mailing off supplies to Germany.  I really didn't think I had this much stuff.  Just the clothes took a couple of hours.   Arguing with the lady at the post office as to what exactly constituted media mail took about half an hour.  Still have half my cds to store, books to organize, computer equipment to dismantle, and odds and ends to decide what to do with.  For instance, how many chess sets do I really need to take with me?  Is it really worthwhile to keep notebooks I used in college?  Is it finally time to do away with that kangaroo skin I've had for over twenty years?  These are life and death decisions.  Really. Also, being the charitable soul I am, I'm donating two huge trashbags full of clothes that have passed their fashion expiration date to the needy.  If that doesn't get me through the Pearly Gates, I don't know what will. In the meanwhile, you care stare at the picture on the right and imagine the fun I've been having. 5:59:05 PM     |
