Warming Up In Chile Quick!  Name three things that Chile is famous for! After naming the obvious ones like, ummmm.... errrrr.... hmmm.... Ok, let me give you a freebie:  Chile is now home of the world record for simultaneous kissing.  This past Sunday almost nine thousand people owning functioning lips showed up in Santiago to lock them together with someone else for at least ten seconds.  Presumably they knew the person ahead of time. It is times like these when I wish my mother had possessed the good sense back in the day to make sure I'd been born in Chile.  To be able to share in the glory, the pride, the incredible sense of self-worth those Chileans must be basking in right now.  Never has the world spotlight shone so warmly on a nation, and that nation is Chile.  Canada used to know that spotlight, because before Sunday, they held the coveted crown.  Bet you anything, though, there's more than a few thousand Canucks up there who are just waiting for their puckers to thaw so they can reclaim the glory, the pride, the incredible sense of ... Oh, who am I kidding?  The only kissing record I'm interested in is how many Chileans we can line up to kiss my butt.  Or Canadians -- those Chilean-wannabe's.
