Why Do They... There are quite a few things that have been bothering me lately.  The rover not roving correctly on Mars.  The Weapons of Mass Destruction still not exisiting in this particular reality that everyone but W lives in.  The fact that a gum hasn't been invented yet that truly keeps its flavor for more than three less than satisfying minutes. But those aren't the only issues keeping me up at night.  For instance, why do they... call the show Celebrities Uncensored, yet they unfailingly blur out the truly naughty bits?  Isn't that blurring also censoring? let short people sing?  I mean, if they have no reason to live, then they certainly have no reason to be singing, either. let Howard Dean play that funky music?  He's a white boy.  (The mixes are freakin' awesome, by the way -- watch the original clip first, though, if you haven't seen it). let fools fall in love.  And then out of love.  And then back in.  And then back out.  It's all just putting off the inevitable. have a "culture" guy on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy?  The others seem to provide concrete changes to the subject of the show that can really affect his lifestyle.  Culture Guy just seems to ...  oh, crap.  Why the *bleep* do I give a rat's ass about this???  Ok, that's enough!  I'm not posting anymore tonight. 6:17:43 PM     |
