Let's see. All it took was a couple of hours with "Learning Unix for Mac OS X Panther". OS X Unix is just different enough from Linux that I was struggling a bit.

So, all it took was the book, a good night's sleep, a couple of additional hours of backing up old files, a little patience and about 2 or so hours for software installation and I was able to completely upgrade to Panther. Really, it turned out to be a non-event. I've read were some people had real trouble, and I've been warned by friends about their bad experiences. But in the end everything worked out fine.

As I was wrapping up I checked e-mail to make sure it was working. A nice surprise was waiting. Radio Customer support mailed my passwords. There is not enough strength left for me to tackle this project tonight. Maybe not even in the next few days. But at least I'm making progress. That's better than I could say after my adventures yesterday.........
