Pete has convinced me to learn Perl. My starting place, "Learning Perl", has been helpful. I've spent several hours so far. It's also helpful that I have a Red Hat box at home. The exercises are well documented, appropriately challenging and it's rewarding when the authors indicate that there will likely be some problems and my program runs the first time...........

I picked up the new Nora Jones "Feels Like Home" while in Reno last weekend. Consistently Norah with some interesting additions. The first time I heard Dolly's voice it surprised me a little. If you liked her first album (I did) this one's a good addition......
