Another day in Paradise
Steve Sloan's weblog. A bit tech, a bit bikes, a bit family, a bit friends, a bit yoga, a bit photo, a bit trains, and a bit fun. Eight bits; that's a byte!

Terminal Hold
PERSONALBLOG:
I am on terminal hold. I'm sitting here on hold at HP waiting to speak to a service rep. This last weekend we went to Bess and Don's for Don Obercoe's 40th birthday party. It was a lot of fun. It is always interesting seeing people you haven't seen for years. We all change incrementally and it is sometimes difficult to see the day to day changes we all go through. But, especially in kids the result is dramatic. Kayla Arena is a case in point. When her mom and I became friends she was a tiny two year-old. We have seen her every couple of years since then. Now she has grown into a very nice young lady. She was very mature. Seeing her made me realize how much we have changed over the years. Her sister Darcey sold us our house. Darcey and her husband Mike are also good friends. It was good seeing them.
