Another day in Paradise
Steve Sloan's weblog. A bit tech, a bit bikes, a bit family, a bit friends, a bit yoga, a bit photo, a bit trains, and a bit fun. Eight bits; that's a byte!

Moving my Weblog?
I have been found this link to how to move a radio weblog from Mac OS X based radio weblog to another Mac. In searching I have found the Internet seems to lack a constantly maintained Mac OS X weblog. If I were more energetic I would start one.

What is a weblog?
There has much talk on the weblogs, for example Robert Scoble's, on the role of weblogs and their function on the Internet. I think weblogs now are in a stage similar to what the web was in its younger days. To me weblogs are a mix of a number of old technologies being mixed together to make something new. It can function like a journal. This isn't new, many people I know, including friends, journal online and have for years. It can sometimes be very private, if that what folks want.

You take the web, mix in the inter-activity of Chat, and the thread nature of Usenet and you have web logging. It is is ubiquitous. It allows for bookmarking, design and graphics like the web with the interactive plus. The rest is up to the owner of the weblog. It can be about any subject, your life, your thought, your hobby, your interests (like tech), friends, pets, politics and/or religion. Web logging is web logging. It has capabilities and limitations. It is what it is and that's fine.
