Sitting Outside, Doing the Geek Thing
It is lunch and I am sitting outside the Journalism building in the cool shade. I'm typing on my laptop and wirelessly accessing the Internet on my Apple iBook. I'm accessing a Windows PC (doing a terminal session, via MSFT Remote Desktop Connection which is both cool and free) in my cubicle and doing email and posting web pages. It's very cool tech!
I read a neat page from Tim O'Reilly's weblog I think this is very profound. It was in their most recent catalog. It makes me want to read Carlotta Perez's book. Too bad it costs so much!
Climbing with the Cats
On Saturday Kenneth and I went to the Cat's Hill Crit. We had a great time. It was a very fun race! We had a lot of running around to do that day so we did not spend the whole day there. But, I shot about three rolls of film plus these digital shots. It was a great day. Ken was only a little bored. We had the best weather we've had in a long time. Like today, it was shorts and T-shirt weather.
