Miscellaneous Monday
Put a sock in it: I'm so close to finishing my first toe-up sock I can taste it. A little ribbing, a little bind off, then voila, it'll be done. (Mountain Colors, by the way, works up like a dream.) Must wait 'til sundown. I'm on a knitting fast for the holiday.
Word on the street: A friend of mine mentioned that Julia Roberts is starring in a film called "Women Who Knit." Is this true or merely urban lengend?
Felting frenzy: Indulged and bought Bev Galeskas' new book Felted Knits, which is full of wisdom like "swatch and wash" as well as a bevy of clean felted designs. Got my eye on the tea cozy. (Amazon says the book isn't out, but it is. Haunt your favorite LYS and you're sure to stir one up.)
