Son of Poodle Returns
Big dogs: Just invested in some Addi Turbo size 19 circs--woof, those'll set you back a few pennies. But she got gauge! Son of Poodle is movin' and groovin'--and how could it not with big yarn and needles the size of baseball bats?
Tip o' the week: Purse stitch--*yo, p2tog* repeat--produces a delicate, lacey scarf when using big needles. The amazing Ingrid, who knits a lot of the samples at The Recycled Lamb and is a true knitting savant (her favorite thing is knitting linen tank tops using triple oughts and pattern stitches), whipped up a fabulous little scarf in purse stitch using Berroco's new Quest, a slinky, hairy metallic. Very chic, very easy.
