Son of Poodle

But she ain't got gauge.

Poodle II: The Poodle Sweater returns for a second incarnation (see Poodle beta in Finished Objects to the left). The above is two strands of Lamb's Pride Bulky on size 17's, but it ain't giving me gauge, dang it. I'm going to bump it up to 19's and see if that works. (I'm testing my pattern for a secret project a year hence.)

Not OK: Henderson's Donuts, a Lakewood, Colo. landmark, has closed. For the uninitiated, a Krispy Kreme tasted like glazed guano next to Henderson's product. The tax man giveth and the tax man taketh away. RIP, Henderson's. Sigh.

Yes to Wes: Attended the Wes Clark meet-up with Mitch last night. You gotta like a campaign that distributes "Clark" bars as a publicity gimmick. Not sure I'm totally on the bus yet, but will attend my caucus on April 13. The rest of you Colorado Dems, do the same. Colorado doesn't have a primary so this is our only way to choose committed delegates for the National Convention. Vote early and vote often. To learn more about Clark, click here.
